HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 6 (acn) Cuba will host on Thursday the 1st Meeting of Education Ministers of the nations that are members of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).
The forum will take place within the context of the Pedagogy 2013 International Congress under way until Friday at Havana's Convention Center, attended by some 3,000 delegates from over 30 countries.
This is one of the activities that this bloc founded in Caracas in 2011 will carry out in 2013.
In addition to the meeting of Education ministers, a meeting of Culture ministers of the Community will be held this year in Paramaribo, Suriname, and other meetings will also take place to tackle issues related to infrastructure, the need to reach a new regional architecture and the struggle against drugs.
