HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 5 (acn) Army General Raul Castro, President of the councils of State and Ministers, received Doctor Rui Maria de Araujo, Prime Minister (PM) of East Timor, who is on an official visit to Cuba.
At Revolution Palace on Monday afternoon, the two heads of state spoke about the excellent state of bilateral relations and expressed the common willingness of consolidating cooperation bonds, particularly in the field of health. They also talked about other topics on the international agenda.
Accompanying the PM was Doctor Hernani F. Coelho da Silva, Minister of Foreign Business and Cooperation; as well as the ambassador to Cuba, Olimpio Miranda Branco.
Cuba was also represented at the meeting by Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez; Rodrigo Malmierca, Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment; and the appointed ambassador to East Timor, Oscar Gerardo Coet Blackstock.
