Cabrisas Receives Deputy PM of Saint Lucia

HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 5 (acn) Ricardo Cabrisas, Vice-president of the Council of Ministers, received Honorable Philip J. Pierre, Deputy Prime Minister (PM) and Minister of Infrastructure, Port Services and Transport of Saint Lucia, who is on a working visit to Cuba.

During the meeting on Monday afternoon, the two authorities ratified the good state of relations between Saint Lucia and Cuba. In this regard, they referred to new proposals of cooperation and bilateral trade in the fields of construction, energy and transport.
They also spoke about regional integration processes, among other topics on the international agenda.
Accompanying the distinguished visitor was Dr. Charles Isaac, ambassador of Saint Lucia to Cuba.
Also representing Cuba at the meeting were Manuel Aguilera de la Paz, General Director for Latin America and the Caribbean, and other officials of the Foreign Ministry.
