HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 25 (acn) Army General Raul Castro, President of the councils of State and Ministers, spoke on Friday in New York with his counterpart of Mozambique, Filipe Nyusi, Prensa Latina reported.
The two leaders spoke during their stay in New York to participate in high-level forums of the United Nations.
Raul and Nyusi tackled bilateral relations and issues of international interest, in a scenario marked by the summit in the UN General Assembly to adopt the post-2015 sustainable development agenda.
According to Cuban sources, Raul Castro will hold meetings in New York with heads of state and U.S. figures, including that city’s governor, Andrew Cuomo, and congresspersons.
