HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 23 (acn) Just as Pope Francis concluded his visit to Cuba on September 22, a 2.8 tremor was reported by local seismological services in the province of Santiago de Cuba, the last leg of the Pope´s tour of the island.
The tremor was located at 36 kilometers deep, 30 kilometers south-southeast of the capital city.
No damages were reported and the natural phenomenon was not felt at the international airport in Santiago de Cuba.
Santiago de Cuba was the last city where the Holy Father met with the people before concluding his visit to the island on his way to the United States.
