Raul Receives His Holiness Francis

HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 20 (acn) Army General Raul Castro, President of the councils of State and Ministers, received on Sunday afternoon His Holiness Francis, Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church and Head of State of Vatican City, who is on an apostolic visit to the island.

Pope Francis and the Cuban President spoke about the good state and favorable development of bilateral relations between Cuba and the Holy See, which this year mark eight decades of uninterrupted bonds.
