Namibian President Concludes Visit to CubaHAVANA, Cuba, Sep 17 (acn) The President of Namibia, Hage Gottfried Geingob, described on Thursday as successful his official three-day visit to Cuba, a country with which the African nation has excellent ties of cooperation.

Minutes before boarding the plane at the Jose Marti International Airport, the President stressed in statements to the press the historic friendship existing between Cuba and his country, which began during the wars of independence, an exploit that had the determining support of the Cuban people.

During his stay in Cuba, the leader of the African nation held official talks with Army General Raul Castro, President of the councils of State and Ministers.
Together with the delegation he headed on his first official visit to the island, the Namibian President toured the Center for State Control of Drugs and Medical Devices, where he could confirm the opportunities existing in other areas of Cuban health, among them control and supervision of medical products.
