Kim Jong Nam Receives Cuban First VP Miguel Diaz-Canel

HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 5 (acn) The President of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Kim Jong Nam, received, at the Mansudae Palace of Congresses, the First Vice-president of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, who is on an official visit to that Asian nation.

During the meeting, held on Saturday, the two parties verified the progress of bilateral relations and recalled the traditional bonds of friendship and solidarity existing between the two countries.
Previously, the Cuban First VP and his accompanying delegation were received by Prime Minister Pak Bong Ju and by the Vice-president of the Supreme People's Assembly, Yang Hyong Sop, who explained the Cuban delegation the construction of a prosperous and efficient society in the Asian country.
