In compliance with the accords: priority post Congress for the Cuban youth

HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 11 (acn) The follow up process, control, verification and compliance of the agreements of the 10th Congress of the Young Communist League, UJC, will be as inclusive as the preparation itself of the forum, said Yuniasky Crespo Baquero, First Secretary of the youth organization.

In a communication through ACN News Agency and other media outlets, she congratulated and sent a big hug to each Cuban youth on the occasion of August 12th, International Youth Day, she assured that the celebration finds the youth organization in a post Congress of intense work.

Among commissions and plenary sessions, there are almost 100 accords and in each one work is being carried out to present a program of action to be complied with or follow up during the upcoming Second Plenary of the National Committee elected by the Congress, she explained.

But, we want each action to be part of those represented not only in the 600 delegates or guests to the UJC Congress held last July 17th to the 19th in the Cuban capital, but each one of the hundreds of thousands of young people, members or not that make possible the process, said Crespo Baquero.

She pointed out that in the total number of agreements, 60 percent must be complied by the UJC, but the others depends mainly on institutions with which the youth organization works closely with in order to carry out concrete actions and measures.

Many go beyond the responsibility of an entity, organization or becomes a priority which society and its institution must assume jointly with systematic work, coherence, and integration point out the First Secretary of the UJC.

In that sense, she mentioned conduct patterns, cultural consumption, use of symbols, knowledge of history, roots, defense of Cuban identity and other issues related to education and the integral formation of the young generation.

The youth leader stressed that without a doubt the UJC has always been transforming its institution and each agreement taken before, during and after the Congress will mobilize not only its political vanguard but the Cuban Youth in general.
