Raul Attends Final Session of 10th Congress of Young Communists League

HAVANA, Cuba, Jul 19 (acn) Army General Raul Castro, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party (CC of the PCC) and President of the councils of State and Ministers, attended the final session of the 10th Congress of the Young Communists League.

Also present at the plenary hall of Havana's Convention Center were Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, Second Secretary of the CC of the PCC and Vice-president of the councils of State and Ministers and other representatives of that "pioneer" generation of the Revolution, to which this meeting was especially dedicated.
The plenary session started with a tribute, by way of beautiful images, to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, and to the heroic struggle of entire generations for the country's definitive independence and sovereignty and a for a future in revolution.
