HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 28 (acn) Army General Raul Castro, First Secretary of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC) and President of the councils of State and Ministers, received Kang Sok Su, member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Labor Party of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and Secretary of International Relations, who paid a visit to Cuba invited by the PCC.
In a fraternal atmosphere on Saturday afternoon, they spoke about the state of relations between the two countries and parties, as well as about other topics on the national and international agendas.
Participating in the meeting were Pak Chong Yul, ambassador of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and Pak Kun Gwang, deputy director of the Department of International Relations of the Central Committee of that country's Labor Party.
Cuba was also represented at the meeting by Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, second secretary of the PCC; Jose Ramon Balaguer and Oscar Martinez, director and deputy director of the Department of International Relations of the Central Committee of the PCC, respectively.
