Raul Receives Chinese Deputy Prime Minister Wang Yang

HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 25 (acn) Army General Raul Castro, President of the Councils of State and Ministers of the Republic of Cuba, received Chinese Deputy Prime Minister Wang Yang, who is on an official visit to Cuba.

During the meeting, held on Thursday in Havana, the two leaders verified the good state of bilateral relations and welcomed the strengthening of diplomatic ties between the two nations dating back to 55 years, RHC Reported on Thursday.
Likewise, Wang Yang, also member of the Political Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party, held official talks with the Vice-president of the Council of Ministers, Ricardo Cabrisas.
After paying tribute to Jose Marti, Cuba's National Hero, at the memorial that bears his name in Havana, Wang Yang was also received by the Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca.
The distinguished visitor will stay on the island until June 27th and then will travel to Brazil.
