HAVANA, Cuba, May 12 (acn) Cuban President Raul Castro said he was satisfied with the results of the three-day visit to Cuba by French President François Hollande.
My coming to see President Hollande off shows our satisfaction for this visit, the first by a French president, Raul said at the Jose Marti International Airport in Havana.
Before getting on the plane that will take him to Haiti, his last stop in his Caribbean tour, Hollande told the press he was thankful for the hospitality he received in Cuba.
On Monday, the delegation accompanying Hollande, which included representatives of French companies, universities and other entities, signed multiple agreements with their Cuban counterparts.
The French Head of State also met with the leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro, delivered a keynote speech at the University of Havana, and inaugurated the new headquarters of the Alliance Francaise Havana.
