The Cuban Five to Visit VenezuelaHAVANA, Cuba, May 3 (acn) Invited by Bolivarian President Nicolas Maduro, the five Cuban antiterrorists will arrive on Monday in Venezuela for a visit to the South American nation, as confirmed on Sunday by diplomatic sources, the Prensa Latina news agency reported from Caracas.

During their stay, until Saturday, Gerardo Hernandez, Rene Gonzalez, Ramon Labañino, Antonio Guerrero and Fernando Gonzalez, will carry out a varied program of activities.
Upon their arrival in the Venezuelan capital they will be officially received at the Simon Bolivar Square, where they will place a wreath as homage to the Liberator of the Americas.
They will also go to the Cuartel de la Montaña (Mountain Barracks), where the mortal remains of the architect of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chavez, one of the main promoters of the world battle for the release of these men from U.S. jails, rest.
On Monday, the mayor of the Libertador municipality, Jorge Rodriguez, will present them with the keys to the city.
On Tuesday, in the city of Caracas, The Five will attend a tribute of the Bolivarian people and government at the National Cemetery, where the mortal remains of the Liberator and of other important Venezuelan patriots rest.
As part of their tight agenda, the visitors will also tour the Socialist Missions in the state of Miranda, and will receive information on this matter and on other social programs that are part of the Plan de la Patria (Plan of the Homeland) (2013-2019).
Over the next few days, The Five will hold exchanges with the island's diplomatic staff and with representatives of the thousands of Cuban voluntary workers offering their services in Venezuela.
They will also attend a lecture at the Bolivarian Military Academy of Venezuela, the Tiuna Fort, and will participate in welcome rallies in the states of Carabobo, Aragua, Zulia, Anzoategui and Barinas.
