British Trade Mission Concludes Contacts in Cuba

HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 30 (acn) The British trade mission that visited Cuba for three days concludes its contacts on Thursday, with the prospect of strengthening business ties with the archipelago.

After three intense days of contacts with Cuban leaders and executives, the future can be promising for various sectors, with the purpose of increasing bonds between the two countries, the Prensa Latina news agency reported.
The mission included more than 30 leading companies. Heading the group was the president of Cuba Initiative, Lord Hutton of Furness, and his visit was a unique opportunity to have contacts with Cuban officials.
During their stay, visitors met with Cuban ministers and top local representatives in order to explore business and investment opportunities on the island.
Included among the visit's attractions was the potential existing in the sectors such as energy, mining, tourism, biotechnology, agriculture, the production of goods, transportation and industry.
