HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 13 (acn) Cuban President Raul Castro returned to the island on Sunday afternoon after a fruitful participation at the 7th Summit of the Americas, held in Panama.
The Cuban head of state was welcomed by first vice-president Miguel Diaz-Canel and by Interior Minister Abelardo Colome, both members of the Political Bureau of Cuba´s Communist Party.
Raul was seen off in Panama by President Juan Carlos Varela. The two heads of state addressed the results of the historic summit and the participation of the Cuban delegation at the event.
