HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 13 (acn) Given the interest aroused by the forthcoming release of Ofertas, new service of the Cuban News Agency (ACN by its Spanish acronym) to advertise in Cuba, its directors reiterate that natural and legal persons across the country may contract spaces to place their ads.
Edda Diz Garcés, General Director of ACN, said after the official presentation of Ofertas in recent days, they have received dozens of emails, phone calls and visits at the headquarters of the agency, reflecting uncertainties related to price, date and formalities concerning hiring spaces for advertisement.
The director confirmed that the printed version, as tabloid newspaper, will be sold from May at newsstands throughout the island at three Cuban pesos ( CUP), and will have a monthly circulation of 60,000 copies.
To know the established rates, those interested can contact ACN offices in every province, and in the case of Havana, its headquarters, located at Number 358 of 23rd Avenue, where they will receive all details.
However, Diz Garcés reiterated that these are very competitive prices compared to those provided in other publications that circulate in the country.
She recalled that the general population can hire spaces for buying and selling, swaps, solicitation or offer of employment or full-page ad, which shows a variety of affordable options to the needs of each client.
As for the website, ofertas.cu, "We hope it will be online in the coming weeks, as soon as completion the hosting process of servers of ETECSA," she stated.
She added that users can access the portal not only from the Internet, but also from any national network, as Infomed and those of the universities, by being registered under .cu domain.
Ofertas comes then for those who require a safe place to promote their products and services in Cuba as a tailored suit, seeking to become the ideal means for new economic actors –self-employed a nd cooperative workers- and the socialist state company.
Beyond the eight pages devoted only to ads, the reader will find in this new delivery of ACN advice, guidance, and useful tips to do business on the island.
This project was born with the intention of being a reliable, legal and attractive space to readers and advertisers, both for the quality of its news, graphic elements and prices, which are very competitive when compared with other publications of its kind in the country.
