HAVANA, Cuba, Mar 18 (acn) Cuban President Raul Castro returned to Cuba on Wednesday afternoon, after participating in the Extraordinary Summit of the Bolivarian Alliance of the Americas-Peoples' Trade Treaty (ALBA−TCP), held in Caracas with the objective of establishing stances with respect to the U.S. interference in the internal affairs of Venezuela.
Upon his arrival at the Jose Marti International Airport he was received by Politburo members Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, Second Secretary of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party and Vice-president of the councils of State and Ministers, as well as by Army Corps General Abelardo Colome, Minister of the Interior.
During the meeting held at the Palacio de Miraflores, the Army General reiterated Cuba's unconditional support for the Bolivarian Revolution and condemned in a categorical way the Executive Order issued by President Obama, in which he arbitrarily describes Venezuela as a threat to his country's national security.
