3.8 Magnitude Earthquake in Central Cuba

HAVANA, Cuba, Mar 2 (acn) At 3:03 am on Sunday, March 1st, the Network Stations of the Cuban National Seismological Service recorded a perceptible earthquake at coordinates 21.28 north latitude and 77.52 west longitude, approximately at 12.0 Km northwest of Sibanicú, in Camaguey Province, with a depth of 10.0 km and a magnitude of 3.8 on the Richter scale.

There have been reports of perceptibility in the towns of Sibanicú and Guáimaro in the province of Camaguey.

No human damages or injuries were reported.
