Chinese and Cuba Culinary Experts Meet in Havana

 Havana, Dec 10 (ACN) Cuban and Chinese culinary experts held an exchange of views and experiences in Havana and agreed to launch cooperation in the field.

Academy director Sara Shang appreciated the opportunity to visit Cuba and explained about the training of students in her institution; she also stressed bilateral links of friendship between the two countries.

The president of the Cuban Culinary Association, Eddy Fernandez and the director of the Accommodations and Tourism school Felix Simon, told about their experience in the academic training of people working in the tourist sector.

Deputy Tourism minister Yamily Aldama said that the meeting opens many opportunities for cultural exchange and the development in the gastronomy field.

The directive affirmed her sector’s commitment to keep working together with the Chinese counterpart in the promotion, training of personnel, cultural exchange towards the sustainable development of tourism.
Since 1895, the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute is recognized around the world for innovation in the training of professionals of excellence for world tourism.
