HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 27 (ACN) Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, member of the Political Bureau and head of Cuban foreign affairs, participated in the meeting of the Ministerial Committee of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) on Palestine, in the context of the activities of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), which is taking place in New York, headquarters of the international organization.
Speaking at the meeting, the Cuban diplomat warned that every minute of Israel's impunity, passivity and silence will cost more innocent lives of the Palestinian people.
I called on member states of the Movement to act now against genocide in Palestine, said Rodriguez Parrilla on X.
During the day, the Cuban foreign minister spoke with his Haitian counterpart Dominique Dupuy, to whom he conveyed the willingness of the Cuban government to continue strengthening bilateral relations.
He also reiterated the island's willingness to maintain the cooperation it provides to the Haitian people, as it has done over the past 26 years.
Also on Thursday, Rodriguez Parrilla participated at the 24th Political Council of the Bolivarian Alliance for the People of Our America - People's Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP).
In his speech, he called for working in unity to confront and defeat the onslaught of imperialism and defend regional peace and security, as well as reiterated the strongest support for the government of President Nicolás Maduro and the civic-military unification of his people.
In the same social network, the Cuban ministry noted that, as part of his activities in New York, the head of Cuban diplomacy offered a conference on the Helms-Burton Act to representatives of the legal sector.
