Havana to host 10th Congress on Clinical Pathology

HAVANA, Cuba, Jul 30 (ACN) The Cuban Society of Clinical Pathology called for participation in the 10th Congress of Clinical Pathology and the 4th Latin American Congress of Clinical Laboratory Technologists, which will be held at the Parque Central Hotel in Havana, September 25-28, 2024.

According to the Infomed Health Network website, this event is an opportunity to exchange and update recent advances in the laboratory with related specialties and a scenario to collaborate in innovative projects.

The event will address topics related to quality control, medical genetics and molecular biology, new applied technologies, transfusion medicine, tumor markers, computer systems, laboratory administration and management and biochemistry.

There will also be research on hematology, hemostasis, thrombosis, immunohematology, epidemiology, laboratory and non-communicable diseases and allergy detection.
At the same time, a scientific and commercial exhibition Expolab 2024 will be held to revitalize science for medicine.

The congress will be sponsored by the Latin American Association of Clinical Pathology, the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry, the Latin American Confederation of Biochemistry, the World Association of Societies of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and the National Council of Scientific Health Societies.
