Cuba Marks 122nd Year of Relations with the Netherlands

Havana, May20 (ACN) Cuba marked on Monday the 122nd year of the establishment of full bilateral diplomatic relations with The Netherlands.

The Cuban Foreign Ministry expressed on X its willingness to keep developing bilateral links with the European nations in all areas of common interest.

The good state of bilateral relations is expressed in the meetings of officials from the two foreign offices to address prospects to tighten bonds.

Political consultations between the two foreign ministries opened in January 2014 during the official visit to Cuba by former Dutch Foreign Minister Frans Timmermans.

Every year, Cuba appreciates the traditions support given by The Netherlands to the resolution demanding the lifting of the US economic, commercial and financial blockade of the island.
