Havana hosts empowerment and communication workshop

 HAVANA, Cuba, May 13 (ACN) A Workshop on Empowerment and Communication in Organizations kicks off its deliberations today in Havana, under the auspices of the Center for Psychological and Sociological Research (CIPS by its Spanish acronym).

The organizing committee of the event confirmed to the Cuban News Agency that the sessions will be held until next Friday with the presence of experts from the institution, one of the collectives of the Agency of Social and Humanistic Sciences.

According to their bases, they pursue the purpose of sharing experiences and significance of the empowerment and communication processes, in order to recognize their importance in organizational life.

In addition, to become aware of the need to generate internal development atmospheres, to identify and exercise some of the skills that contribute to this and to plan follow-up actions to enrich what has been learned at the meeting.

High-level Cuban professionals make up the team of facilitators, and the program includes exercises and activities that combine and integrate a more structured conduction with sessions in which the protagonism of the participants will be essential in the construction of their own knowledge and skills.

The Agency for Social and Humanistic Sciences is one of the three agencies of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, ahead of the Agency for Nuclear Energy and Advanced Technologies and the Agency for Environment.
