Havana, March 21 (ACN) Russian I.T. Company executives expressed their interest in strategic alliances with Cuban enterprises and universities, during the International I.T. Fair underway in Havana.
The director for international business development of Russia’s ITGlobal Co., Oleg Arsenyev told PL news agency that his entity has been working in Cuba for several years now and they keep supporting the Caribbean nation in advancing digital transformation.
The director of the I.T. at Moscow’s State University of Linguistics, Alexandra Vanichkina addressed joint work with the University of Information Technology of Havana and referred to a postgraduate educative project aimed at digital transformation and cybersecurity in the field of social engineering and the actions related to A.I.”
She added that joint Cuba-Russia cooperation will contribute to develop projects related to the teaching of Russian Language in the Caribbean nation.
Another Russian company at the fair presented a data-integration platform for those who want to start digital transformation projects.
With the participation of 16 nations, the I.T. convention and fair shows the use of I.T. in Cuba and the local capabilities in the road towards a digital society.
