HAVANA, Cuba, Mar 19 (ACN) The Eastern Havana Post Office in the Cuban capital is committed to improving its business management, in line with the demands of the Cuban economic and social model.
Dania Ester Garcia Garcia, general director of the entity, referred today to the need to strengthen the organizational and functional structure of the Post Office in pursuit of this objective.
Garcia Garcia explained, from the capital headquarters of the institution, that they are working hard on the implementation of Decree 87/2023 to guarantee improvements in payments and the fulfillment of the salary indicator, backed by the over-fulfillment of income and productivity.
The director general also highlighted, as priorities for 2024, the innovative application of technologies in the postal activity, the creation of a classroom to increase the professional training of workers and the improvement of control and surveillance systems.
She also highlighted the consolidation of the collective's presence in social networks, the increase in the fleet of vehicles with electric equipment and the decentralization of the Proxy and Versat systems, in order to gain autonomy in the Post Offices.
Cuban Post Group is the operator assigned by the Cuban State to guarantee the Universal Postal Service throughout the national territory.
