HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 29 (ACN) With the presence of Salvador Valdes Mesa, Cuban vice president of the country, the Ordinary Session of the Municipal Assembly of People's Power was held today in Güines, the western province of Mayabeque.
The meeting discussed the proposed Budget for 2024 and insisted on its correct implementation, Valdes Mesa stated on X.
During his speech, the vice president called for reducing expenditures and increasing revenues as essential actions for this new year.
Yuniasky Crespo Baquero, first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in the province, and Governor Manuel Aguiar Lamas also participated.
