Panel “For a new economic order” marks economists' meeting

HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 16 (ACN) The 14th International Meeting of Economists on Globalization and Development Issues, currently under way in Havana, will host the panel For a new international economic order in the current context, as well as a business and a students’ forum.

Experts from Cuba, Belgium and Mexico will cover topics such as the current multidimensional crisis; financial imbalances and obstacles for the New Financial Architecture; gaps and challenges facing world trade; and environmental sustainability problems.

Tomorrow’s program includes the celebration of International Students' Day in a forum themed Because a better world is possible for young economics students from several countries.

On Wednesday, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel took the floor to speak about Republic, spoke on the issue of cooperativism in Cuba and around the world.
