HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 11 (ACN) A Cuban delegation, headed by deputy foreign minister Elio Rodriguez Perdomo, will participate in the 11th Italy-Latin America and the Caribbean Conference, to be held in Rome on October 12 and 13.
The biennial event, organized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, with the collaboration of the Italian-Latin American Organization (IILA by its Spanish acronym), aims to evaluate the development of its relations with Latin America and the Caribbean.
According to a statement issued by the Cuban Embassy, the working visit of the deputy foreign minister, which will last until October 15, will also include a meeting with Giorgio Silli, Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
Likewise, Rodriguez Perdomo will exchange with Antonella Cavallari, secretary general of IILA, and with representatives of the Italy-Cuba Bilateral Friendship Section of the Italian Group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
