Havana, Oct 4 (ACN) Monica Martinez, undersecretary for cooperation and support to countries with less relative development under the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI) described as successful the recently concluded Multi-sectorial Expo ALADI Cuban 2023 Macro Business Round, held for the first time in the Caribbean region.
The event, held October 2-4, offered opportunities to strengthen business relations and to foster regional trade, as well as the expansion of bilateral economic agendas with several Latin American countries.
Eduardo Zelaya, official with Paraguay’s Foreign Minister said that the forum allowed the exchange with Cuban companies and to raise business prospects which could lead to new accords, trade actions and access to different markets.
The director of the Cuban Center for the Promotion of Foreign Trade and Investment, Roberto Verrier, said that the stand of the Mariel Zone was visited by over 30 foreign entrepreneurs who expressed their interest in learning about new opportunities for their businesses in Cuba.
More than 360 companies from Latin America and the Caribbean were at hand during the Macro Business Round in Havana.
