Cuban company promotes its image through machining and 3D printing

 CIENFUEGOS, Cuba, Cienfuegos, Oct 3 (ACN) The machining and 3D printing services of the Geocuba Business Group, in this central province, are an exportable line that in its cultural, historical and economic turn, is aimed at promoting Cuba's image to the world.

Deborah Aizpurua Sosa, marketing director of the company Geocuba Oriente Sur, told the Cuban News Agency that these works are only carried out in Santiago de Cuba, with a great experience in these procedures, quality of the products and with destination to all the entities of the country interested in having these types of models.

She mentioned some of the most emblematic prototypes made by her entity, including the prototypes of the Oil Refinery in Cienfuegos; of the Latin American School of Medicine in Havana; they recently finished the model of a dolphinarium in Santa Lucia, a first class model; and they are about to finish the scale structure of the city of Pinar del Rio, a huge sample.

She said that 3D printing also has a great attraction and aesthetic uses, since it is possible to make reproductions of emblematic places throughout Cuba on a very small scale and use them as souvenirs or decorative gifts for sale in tourism, or for entities or individuals.

Aizpurua Sosa asserted that they have already reproduced the Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre Church, Antonio Maceo Square, Jose Marti's Mausoleum, 26 de Julio School and the emblematic clock of Santiago de Cuba's Alameda, among many other sites.

For the specialist, the production, promotion and commercialization of these assortments are a praiseworthy way to support Cuban culture and make it known in the world, and it is an action with which the business sector can collaborate.

Although these tasks have a high degree of complexity, they can be carried out in record time due to the use of advanced technologies, the expert concluded.
