HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 22 (acn) Héctor Rodríguez, Minister of Education of Venezuela, sent a huge hug to the Cuban teachers, due to the celebration of the Educator Day, this December 22 in Cuba.
In a meeting with the Cuban press accredited in the South American country, the also Vice President for Social Area and Missions, thanked the love and affection of the hundreds of Cuban volunteers who serve as advisors in Robinson, Ribas and Sucre Educational Missions.
"Many things have been said on the Cuban Revolution, but nobody can deny their success in sports, health and education. It is the best education in Latin America and the Caribbean measured by all international indicators and one of the best in the world, "he said.
Rodriguez added that Venezuela is working every day to raise school enrollment rates, general knowledge and Cuba's advice has been decisive, with its experiences, strengths and weaknesses.
It is a very sincere collaboration, so from the heart, we appreciate this from the soul, so congratulations by so much effort, so much love, so much commitment, "he stated.
Since the beginning of the Cuba -Venezuela cooperation agreement thousands of Cuban education professionals have worked in the land of Bolívar, in which there are currently more than 450 teachers of different specialties and educational teachings.
