Cuban and foreign experts seek to use enzymes in animal feed

 HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 2 (ACN) The Cuban Academy of Sciences (ACC) reported Cuban and foreign scientists are studying how to obtain enzymes to improve fibrous sources for animal feed at the Institute of Animal Science.

The ACC described the effort as consistent and supported by modern research methods and procedures with a view to develop and probably export these enzymes as part of a process which is still on its experimental and laboratory stage.

The study has been endorsed not only by scientific committees of the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment, but also by universities in Argentina, Italy and Mexico.
