Havana Historian Eusebio Leal, a Lucid Intellectual of Our Time

 Havana, July 31 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Diaz Canel recalled on Twitter Havana’s Historian Eusebio Leal on the third year of his passing stressed the challenge to follow up on his work and keep developing it with the same passion for beauty shown by Leal.

Vice-President Salvador Valdes described Leal as one of the most lucid intellectuals of our time, and citing outstanding Cuban poetess Fina Garcia Marruz he said that Leal’s legacy is so great that when men forget him, he will still be recalled by the stones,.

Leal, who passed July 31, 2020, at 77 in Havana; he was born September 11, 1942 in the Cuban capital. He was an intellectual, politician, writer and researcher.
