Tropical Storm Bret Develops in the Central Atlantic

 Havana, June 19 (ACN) Former tropical depression Three gained organization and intensified to turn Monday afternoon into Tropical Strom Bret moving in the central Atlantic, according to the Cuban Meteorology Institute.

At five pm Monday, Bret was located 2085 kilometers east of the southern Lesser Antilles, moving west at 33 kilometers per hour and with 65-kilometer-per-hour sustained maximum winds and higher gusts.

The advisory reads that Bret will keep gaining in organization and intensity over the next 12 to 24 hours and moving west on the Central Atlantic.
