University in central Cuba announces international conference

SANTA CLARA, Cuba, Jun 14 (ACN) On November 13 to 17, the Central University "Marta Abreu" of Las Villas (UCLV) will hold its 4th International Scientific Convention 2023.

Themed "Science and innovation for sustainable development", the conference will be attended by some 500 foreign and 1,000 Cuban delegates, including professors, researchers, students, decision-makers, producers and entrepreneurs.

UCLV reported that the convention program features events such as the 20th International Symposium on Electrical Engineering, the 15th International Workshop "Communities 2023: History and Development", the 13th International Symposium on Structures, Geotechnics and Construction Materials, and the 13th International Conference on Entrepreneurial Sciences, among others.

Also envisaged is the 3rd Innovation Fair, designed to exhibit and promote scientific breakthroughs, projects, products and services of the academic and business sectors.

The UCLV International Scientific Conventions facilitate the exchange of views and the presentation of innovative results, with stress on their social and local impact and their link with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
