HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 9 (acn) Cuban President Raul Castro received this Tuesday afternoon Bahamas's Prime Minister Perry Gladstone Christie, who visited Cuba on an official meeting after the Fifth Caricom-Cuba Summit.
In the friendly meeting the heads of State spoke of the historical and friendship bonds between their countries, and acknowledged the advances in the sports and educational cooperation.They also discussed topics of mutual interests and of the regional and world agendas.
The Bahamian leader was accompanied by Foreign Minister Frederick Mitchell, Financial Services Minister Ryan Pinder and Investments Minister Khaalis Rolle. The Cuban part was represented by Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez and his Deputy Rogelio Sierra.
