Only electric scooters, bikes and horse-drawn carriages will be part of the colorful action which will end up with 70-horse bloc to pay homage to 70 year of the assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes military barracks by a revolutionaries led by Fidel Castro.
Other municipalities in Santiago de Cuba province will be the venues of local ceremonies and parades, the official noted.
The Cuban Workers Confederation Called on the people and workers to stage demonstrations in municipalities where they can walk to, instead of moving thousands of citizens to main plazas on buses and other transport means given the current shortage of fuels, which has forced authorities to reduce expenditure to guarantee vital social and economic services.
