Excelencias Group highlights Cuba's role worldwide

HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 27 (ACN) Cuba plays an important role within the Excelencias group worldwide, said Jose Carlos de Santiago, president of the entity in the Caribbean nation.

During the Excelencias Cuba 2022 awards gala, held on Tuesday at the Covarrubias Hall of the National Theater, he pointed out the great cultural heritage of Cuba, which makes it a major tourist destination in the Caribbean region.

The nation has been part of the group's agenda since its creation in 1997 and, at the same time, this project has allowed it to make its important work in different social fields known to the world and serve as an example and motivation to third parties, he said.

Regarding the Excelencias magazines, he told the press that they were created with the goal of transmitting as much information as possible about the idiosyncrasies of Latin American and Caribbean countries, and have been leaders in communication since the 1990s.

The Excelencias Magazines have over 490,000 subscribers and are carried by 86 airlines, as they exclusively deal with Ibero-America and the Caribbean.
