Havana, April 6 (ACN) Cubana de Aviacion airline company will resume flights between Havana and Buenos Aires, Argentina, as of May 2nd.
The company announced direct weekly flights from Buenos Aires to Cayo Coco key, on the northern coast of central Ciego de Avila province; that connection also includes Havana.
Argentina’s National Civil Aviation Authority recently welcomed the resumption of Cubana de Aviacion operations by saying that they will allow expanding connectivity between the Caribbean area and South America.
The resumption of flights will take place the same month that both countries marked the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations—May 28, 1973.
Cayo Coco key is one of Cuba’s major tourist centers given its exquisite beaches, natural and cultural attractions.
