HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 28 (acn) Cuban foreign minister Bruno Rodriguez held talks on Thursday with Chinese State Secretary Yang Jing, who is paying an official visit to Cuba.
According to Granma newspaper, the talks corroborated the excellent bilateral relations between Beijing and Havana and the prospects to further deepen links between the two governments and peoples.
Bruno Rodriguez and Yang Jing stressed the fruitful exchange of experience about the construction of socialism in China and in Cuba; they also addressed issues of international interest.
The Chinese State Secretary was accompanied by Li Zhiyong, executive undersecretary of the Working Commission of State Entities with the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party; Song Dahan, general director of the Council of State Legislative Office, and by Chen Baosheng, Communist Party secretary at the Chinese Government Academy, as well as the Chinese ambassador to Havana.
On the Cuban side was Homero Acosta, secretary of the Cuban Council of State along other Foreign Ministry officials.
