Cuban President: It is an Honor to be Candidate to Parliament Deputy

Havana, Feb 6 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez said that it is an honor to be a candidate to deputy of the Cuban Parliament along other persons who although very young have dedicate their lives to the Revolution.

On his Twitter account, the head of state said that the candidates to deputies are very committed and talented colleagues who have been acknowledged by the people due to their merits.

“They are good people like the Cuba they represent,” said the Cuban President referring to the candidates.

On February 5th, Diaz-Canel was approved as candidate to Parliament deputy by unanimous vote in the city of Santa Clara during a special session of the local People’s Power Assembly in that central Cuban province.
