Cuban president holds exchange with authorities of eastern province

HOLGUIN, Cuba, Jan 20 (ACN) Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and president of the country, exchanges today with officials, managers and producers of Holguin, to analyze the economic and social potential of the province that will be strengthened during 2023.

In this meeting, which takes place in the theater of the Provincial Committee of the Party, they evaluate the capacity of the territory to optimize the provision of services, the production of food and goods in order to raise the quality of life of the population this year.

Manuel Marrero Cruz, Prime Minister, and Roberto Morales Ojeda, Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the PCC, accompanied the Cuban leader.

Ernesto Santiesteban Velazquez, member of the Central Committee and first secretary of the PCC in the province and Julio Cesar Estupiñan Rodriguez, Governor of Holguin, also participate in the meeting.
