Cuban government analyzes potential for provincial development

 HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 6 (ACN) Miguel Diaz-Canel, first secretary of the Party and president of the country, stressed today that the Cuban government will visit all the provinces of the country to analyze the potential of each territory in order to make 2023 a better year.

On Twitter, the president said that these meetings began on Thursday in Ciego de Avila and Sancti Spiritus(both in central Cuba), and expected that the debates will be honest and very hopeful.

During Thursday's exchanges with the highest authorities of these territories, the head of state was accompanied by premier Manuel Marrero Cruz and Roberto Morales Ojeda, secretary of organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba.

On the same social media, Cuban PM indicated that in both provinces the Cuban government made a call to expand food production, encourage urban, suburban and family agriculture and exploit the potential of each province to the fullest.

According to the Presidency, the discussion is focused on the tasks that in the economic, social and political order have been outlined by the provinces to make the necessary progress in 2023.
