HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 24 (acn) Ricardo Cabrisas, Vice-president of the Council of Ministers, met on Monday morning with Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo and Marfil, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain, who is on an official visit to Cuba.
Prospects of bilateral relations, particularly in the spheres of trade, investment and the economy, were tackled during the meeting.
Likewise, they spoke about topics on the international agenda, including challenges imposed by the current global economic crisis.
Present at the meeting were Juan Francisco Montalban, ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain; Juan Jose Buitrago, Director of the Minister's cabinet; Pablo Gomez de Olea, General Director for Ibero-America; and Fernando Eguidazu Palacios, General Director of International Economic Relations.
Also representing Cuba were Elio Rodriguez, Director for Europe and Canada, among other officials of the Foreign Ministry.
