Cuba Hosts International Forum of Senior Citizens

 Havana, Oct 18 (ACN) Experts of several countries of the world are sharing experiences on Wednesday, October 19 at the 3rd International Congress of Senior Citizens, which is taking place as part of the Gerontoger Forum, which runs during the Cuba-Salud 2022 Health Convention in Havana.

The Medial Faculty at the Calixto Garcia University Hospital is the venue of the event, attended by outstanding experts like French Doctor Alain Koskas, president of the International Federation of Elderly Associations, said Teresa Orosa, president of the Senior Citizen Department at the University of Havana. Also taking part is Doctor Francoise Vellas, president of France’s International Association of Universities of the Elderly.

Orosa told ACN that Cuban and foreign participants will hold panel son health, human rights, education, friendly environment, the use of I.T., care, violence, genre, sexuality, the impact of COVID-19, and other issues included in the forum’s program.
