HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 5 (acn) Miguel Diaz-Canel, First Vice President of the Councils of State and Ministers, held official talks Tuesday with his counterpart Oscar Samuel Ortiz, Vice President of El Salvador, who is on an official visit to Cuba.
The two leaders reviewed the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation between El Salvador and Cuba, while reiterating the willingness of their governments to work for the strengthening of bilateral ties.
The distinguished visitor was accompanied by the Deputy Minister Luz Estrella Rodríguez and Ms. Geraldine Alvarado Sandra Fuentes, Ambassador-designate of El Salvador in Cuba.
On the Cuban side it was attended by Deputy Foreign Minister Ana Teresita Gonzalez Fraga; Director General for Latin America and the Caribbean, Manuel Aguilera de la Paz, and other Foreign Ministry officials.
