HAVANA, Cuba,Aug 29 (ACN) On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Cuba's membership in Unesco, its director general, Audrey Azoulay, highlighted today the friendship and cooperation ties that unite the organization with the Caribbean nation.
According to Prensa Latina, Azoulay said in a message that bonds are more alive than ever and are reflected in a dynamic collaboration.
The official pointed out that Cuba, a reference partner in education, is currently receiving UNESCO's support in the reform of its education system, in fields such as teacher training, environmental education and digitalization.
The executive's message also recalled Havana historian Eusebio Leal, with his legacy of placing cultural heritage at the center of society.
