Pastors for Peace Caravan tours province in western Cuba

MATANZAS, Cuba, Jul 22 (ACN) The members of the 32nd Pastors for Peace Friendshipment Caravan will learn first-hand about Cuba’s identity, culture and socioeconomic situation in visits to entities, heritage sites and state and non-state cooperatives in the province of Matanzas, where they will be able to appreciate the effects of the U.S. blockade.

Teresa Rubio, provincial delegate of the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), thanked the visitors for their support and willingness to get in touch with Cuban history and reality of life.

The caravanistas arrived in Matanzas on Thursday 21st and were received by local authorities and representatives of the civil society, who offered them a warm welcome in the public square La Vigía.
