Cuban Aviation Club closes sporting relationship with Team Eagle based in Miami

HAVANA, Cuba, Jul 15 (ACN) The Cuban Aviation Club agreed to cease indefinitely any sporting or other relationship with Team Eagle, a counterpart group based in the U.S. city of Miami.

A statement issued by the Cuban group stresses that the decision is a response to the actions of that group in support of the aggressive escalation that the United States is trying to destabilize the order on the island.

According to the text, the Cuban Aviation Club also suspends any sporting relationship in Cuban airspace with six members of Team Eagle, due to their direct participation in activities that encourage events against the stability of Cuban society.

The Cuban club upholds the commitment of the Cuban association to preserve and stimulate fraternity among all Cuban air sportsmen, regardless of their residence, but clarifies that it will act accordingly to those who undermine that spirit of fraternity, using the activity to wage fourth-generation wars.

It also calls on Cuban air sports practitioners not to support Team Eagle in this political campaign.
